How large a space can these humidifiers treat?
These humidifiers can treat up to 1,500 square feet, assuming standard eight foot ceilings and normal ambient temperature and humidity. For instance, the manufacturer has measured an increase in humidity within a 1,500 square foot room from 28% to 52% at 68°F within a day.
What kind of maintenance is required on the system?
Every couple of days, you will need to rinse out and refill the water reservoir. Each season, you should replace the composite panel - perhaps using it as an excuse to freshen your room with a different design.
